Morgan was featured in a short film that was about AIDS education and prevention, Safe Sex for Men and Women. Proceeds from the video were donated in part to the American Foundation for AIDS Research. She also serves on the Entertainment Industry AIDS Task Force. Morgan is a part of the entertainment industry's AIDS Task Force. She has also spearheaded several other fundraising efforts to combat AIDS and also testified before a special Congressional Commission on AIDS Education. She is a member of the Board of Directors for Amfar as well as the Board of Governors of APLA. The organization has asked her to replace the former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop at the AIDS-related gatherings. Steve Bell, a anchor for the news has presented an AIDS Awareness Special. Morgan has been on Nightline alongside Ted Koppell regarding AIDS. Morgan has been nominated for an Emmy for the special Murphy Brown episode written by Diane English for her. In spring, she was a guest with Joan Rivers on ABC's Your Money or Your Wife. Her summer started with Murder At The PTA Luncheon which was produced by Von Zerneck/Sertner. The show also starred Cindy Williams and Marla Gibbs. Morgan then appeared in Harmony Gold's production Sherlock Holmes and the Leading Lady with Christopher Lee and Patrick McNee. Morgan has also appeared in the psychological thriller "The Leading Lady" produced exclusively for USA Network. This thriller was a huge success and earned the top ever ratings for that network.
